From the Trail to the National Anthem
Three-time Trails of Tales performer Olivia Faith celebrates a special hometown honor in North Platte.

NORTH PLATTE, Neb., October 23, 2026 — Just days after performing at the third annual Trails of Tales Songwriter Festival in Deadwood, South Dakota, Olivia Faith returned to the microphone for a memorable moment in her hometown.
The North Platte country singer-songwriter performed the national anthem on Thursday, October 22, during Vice President JD Vance’s visit to the D&N Events Center.
For Trails of Tales, the performance marked another milestone for an artist who has been part of the festival since its first year. Olivia has performed at all three festivals, sharing her original music and connecting with listeners and fellow songwriters along the way.
Her hometown appearance followed TOT3, which brought more than 70 singer-songwriters from 18 states together across six Deadwood venues for a celebration of original music and the stories behind the songs.
From songwriter rounds in Deadwood to a special performance back home, Olivia continues to add meaningful moments to her musical journey.
Congratulations, Olivia!
